I don't know about you, but I often find that I work really hard for something to go well, for life to feel settled and balanced, with an equal amount of work and fun adventures. Then, when I achieve this, the lovely feeling of achievement is quickly replaced by a desperate search for something to be wrong, or a hundred thoughts about how I am not good enough, or that it will all soon fail.
I soon realise what is happening, and do some work as to why I am feeling that way, and then settle back into the uncomfortable feeling of being happy.
Am i the only one who seems to have this conditioning? What are the ways you take back the reins when your brain starts running wild?
